So what does it mean to be a green REALTOR in today’s environment?
There are many things that we have done and continue to implement into our business model as a team to make our business a little more green.
- We provide all our clients with the ability to login to their own personal password protected website where they may check the status of their file, documents, showings log and continued communication at any one given time 24/7 from the comfort of their home, hotel room or their office computer. This eliminates the unnecessary paper contracts that would normally be lying around the house - hense we’ve gone paperless.
- We took "Going Paperless" to the next level. That is we have invested in Tablet PC’s and a e-signature application; Real Estate Dashboard. This system completely eliminates the multiple copies of paper in any one given transaction. The signtures are completely legal and secure through this system allowing us to be green and paperless.
- We have adopted a Fax to Email system that allows us to send and receive faxes via email from any location. We no longer have to drive around picking up faxes anymore we may now just check our email. No more paper. So what does this mean for our clients?
Your offers are now completely secure and password protected so that no one else may look at an offer coming in our your listing. If you have been transfered or out of town on business and require a document to be sent back to us via fax you may now send it toll free. Eliminating the long distance charges on a regular fax. Your privacy is now being protected as no one else my look at the fax that would normally go the Brokerage office’s group fax machine. - Advertising - All of our advertising of your property is through digital media. Surveys have shown that most consumer searches now start on the internet or through other digital media channels. Reducing the amount of paper print while saving some trees at the same time.
- Blogging/Twitter/Facebook are ways that we are staying connected not only to the real estate community but also with our clients. We are able to keep in touch on a more personal level as lives change, kids grow up, and we all get wiser!

There are a lot of reasons to go green today, but the most important one for our team is that by going green it saves us time, energy and paper so that we may now spend more time working directly with our clients.
